Leftist Musk with his global agenda made his money on the green deal hype. The amount of inflation he created is unreal. Without Tesla to back up the green agenda, it could not have happened. Electric cars may be fun to drive and nerds can geek out on the FSD, but the agenda behind it is the biggest hoax in history. Electric cars can be toys for adults, but no agenda to enforce them should be put in place. Big government is not a friend of mine.

Another failed innovation. Gigacasting. Abandoning it not due to upfront cost or timeline as the report says. Truth is any giga cast might soon be phased out due to insurance issues. Many Teslas are considered total lost in minor accidents due to the complexity and inability to fix giga cast parts. Insurance companies already have decided to not insure 1 piece giga cast parts. Soon will either stop insuring 3 piece or hike rates to ridiculous prices rendering Teslas unaffordable. There's a reason why giga casts are not used by the Japanese that have perfected assembly and cost cutting for decades. Repairability is just as important as initial construction cost.
Another hit piece in Reuters. Giga casting is the future. Chinese automakers are all falling in line. The supposed high cost of repair and replacement was debunked a good while ago. Repairs are actually cheaper and easier.

Be careful going short. Musk is desperate and will be committing more crimes before Q2 to sell for Twitter debt and bonus package. Either be nimble and make quick small amounts going bear or be sure to have enough liquidity to hold bear till Q4. By then the lies will crumble no matter what Musk does.
Elon had created. Pass tense. The money to be made has been made. Unless Musk is serious about Tesla again and turn the ship around, Tesla is doomed. They were 10 years ahead of everyone. Now they lost their moat SC and it's at least 4 years behind China as a collective EV source. Musk left Tesla to a bunch of senior management he thought were good enough whole he dedicated 90% of his time to Twitter. A bit late coming back to Tesla. It'll take him at least 3 years to rectify and 3 more to catch up. Until he is honest and truly dedicate his time, Tesla is doomed.
