Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Utilities, Auto & components and Energy sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which rose 12.65% or 0.84 points to trade at 7.43 at the close. Meanwhile, Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) added 0.74% or 2.9 points to end at 395.0 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was up 0.71% or 2.4 points to 342.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which fell 4.49% or 0.05 points to trade at 1.02 at the close. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) declined 2.68% or 7.10 points to end at 258.10 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was down 2.09% or 0.50 points to 23.45.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 95 to 70 and 34 ended unchanged.
Shares in P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.68% or 7.10 to 258.10.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.40% or 0.21 to $52.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.64% or 0.36 to hit $55.62 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.60% or 20.10 to trade at $1274.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.15% to 9.1285, while USD/NOK fell 0.31% to 8.6005.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 100.62.
