Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Materials, Software & Computer Services and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 15.86% or 0.16 points to trade at 1.13 at the close. Meanwhile, TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) added 3.18% or 5.9 points to end at 191.2 and Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) was up 2.08% or 0.13 points to 6.14 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DnB ASA (OL:DNB), which fell 4.11% or 5.7 points to trade at 132.9 at the close. Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) declined 4.05% or 13.6 points to end at 322.0 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was down 1.04% or 1.4 points to 132.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 87 to 81 and 32 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.44% or 0.22 to $49.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $52.53 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 1.76 to trade at $1265.44 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.13% to 9.3400, while USD/NOK rose 0.40% to 8.5945.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 99.13.
