Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Diversified Financials and Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 2.21% or 0.03 points to trade at 1.16 at the close. Meanwhile, Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) added 1.55% or 2.2 points to end at 144.1 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was up 1.07% or 1.4 points to 132.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which fell 3.19% or 1.38 points to trade at 41.87 at the close. Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) declined 3.07% or 0.37 points to end at 11.69 and Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) was down 2.90% or 1.75 points to 58.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 105 to 78 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 1.07% or 1.4 to 132.1.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.21% or 0.59 to $48.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.97% or 0.50 to hit $51.12 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.85% or 10.55 to trade at $1244.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.53% to 9.1515, while USD/NOK fell 0.16% to 8.4624.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.67% at 99.49.
