Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Telecoms and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which rose 5.51% or 1.96 points to trade at 37.56 at the close. Meanwhile, Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) added 1.84% or 1.00 points to end at 55.40 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) was up 1.81% or 2.60 points to 146.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which fell 1.44% or 0.11 points to trade at 7.54 at the close. Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) declined 1.20% or 0.70 points to end at 57.45 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was down 0.90% or 0.22 points to 24.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 91 to 86 and 28 ended unchanged.
Shares in Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.84% or 1.00 to 55.40.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.35% or 0.19 to $53.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.54% or 0.30 to hit $56.11 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1239.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.10% to 8.8494, while USD/NOK rose 0.09% to 8.3339.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 100.85.
