Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which rose 1.44% or 65.0 points to trade at 4580.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 1.12% or 220.0 points to end at 19920.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 0.95% or 200.0 points to 21200.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which fell 1.69% or 240.0 points to trade at 13940.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 1.49% or 20.0 points to end at 1325.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was down 1.28% or 110.0 points to 8510.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 14 to 6 and 9 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.91% or 2.44 to $125.28 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 1.33% or 27.00 to hit $2003.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.87% or 11.07 to trade at $1278.07 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.05% to 2896.75, while BRL/COP fell 0.05% to 890.57.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 96.63.
