Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.86%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which rose 7.74% or 4300.0 points to trade at 59840.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) added 6.64% or 1860.0 points to end at 29880.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 1.09% or 30.0 points to 2780.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which fell 3.60% or 0.8 points to trade at 21.4 at the close. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.08% or 7.0 points to end at 642.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was down 0.53% or 160.0 points to 29820.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 18 to 12 and 5 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for May delivery was up 0.55% or 0.80 to $146.73 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 3.91% or 74.50 to hit $1979.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.58% or 7.15 to trade at $1232.55 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.16% to 2877.12, while BRL/COP rose 1.06% to 940.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 101.13.
