Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 1.48% or 20.0 points to trade at 1375.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 0.53% or 180.0 points to end at 33920.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) was up 1.16% or 300.0 points to 26200.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etb (CN:ETB), which fell 5.19% or 32.0 points to trade at 584.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.09% or 30.0 points to end at 2710.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was down 0.80% or 0.2 points to 24.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 17 to 12 and 4 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.48% or 1.91 to $126.97 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 1.61% or 29.50 to hit $1808.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.67 to trade at $1215.87 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.43% to 3075.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.51% to 945.65.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 95.54.
