I only bought 50 of it to play with so no big deal for me. My account ledger says "mandatory reorganization fee" -the whole amount

The fund closes, liquidates, and delivers any proceeds remaining to the holders of record. It is a sanctioned theft and a slamming door on OiLU and OilD holders. Buyer beware... I should have.
I did OK with OILD. A bit disappointed it was closed.
What happens to long term calls on this?
Thats what im wondering cus i loaded up far out . Great plan based on patients but scr €wd in the end. It would be great if they retracted and reversed split so at this point ill just sit and watch it die and not sell.

I think all leveraged crude oil etf are liquidated. I had a huge loss too.
Why are those shares being bought at this price? And does anyone has any idea what's the expected NAV of the fund when liquidated

sorry for very late reply as I didn't track OILU anymore. nothing we can do. i will not touch any etf anymore... but its up to you. some etf still okay to hold. well..i will go for stocks for the time being.
If i plan to buy etf, i will buy etf which already in the market more than 10 years, not like OILu which only 2 years in the market. Surely will avoid leverage etf. thanks for you advise!

Bet we all sitting here wondering how couldn't we all haven't seen that EVERYBODY AT HOME = NO NEED FOR OIL = OIL PRICE CRASH = 5X your money on OILD. But it's way too late now, trump gonna bust some asses and end the oil war, OILU will win in the long term, will reach at least 1$ in the coming two months
Oil up 25% this should have gone up 75%
This tracks brent oil(incase you are watching crude), was on the money at close yesterday. Also remember that brent futures are displayed, where aftermarket price movement on oilu are not displayed by investing.com
3x % is not what they are giving. They need reported to fed trade committee
so when do the calls start moving again when this reaches a dollar? any thoughts on how long that will take? this will keep moving up as oil prices move up right

Is proshares going to liquidate this ETF? It is not performing 3X when oil goes up and more than 3X when oil goes down. I'm still holding some...but at this point it will never go back to $6.
