I don't think the CEO is needed to fire. The CEO knows well what to do but this will take some time. In a longterm perspective this still is a good choice

I'm not sure she knows what to do. Lot of companies already rising the prices, it's logical step - and Ontex is focused on cost cutting (that's the feeling from last presentation). That's not a good way forward.

Isn't ONTEX GROUP NV (Belgian-listed company) an attractive buy ?
1) GBL owns around 20%. Average entering price of GBL around 25.50 EUR per share. Rumors talking about GBL taking it private, but who knows.
2) takeover bid 2-3 years ago by PAI Partners at price of 27.50 EUR per share.
3) core business in personal hygiene : my view is that COVID will not have a significant impact on this kind of business.
4) downgarded a few days ago with several short positions that will probably have to be covered soon to take the profit or because of short squeeze.
5) book value per share end 2019 : 13.52 EUR.
6) small cap with 65-66% float so small volumes affect share price significantly.
7) rumors of Ontex Group Considering Bid for Domtar Personal-Care Unit that was announced to be potentially for sale lately.
8) strategic review and direction changes giving me hope for the future.
9) stock bottom price was 8.94 EUR a few weeks ago. I do not see it going down for much longer.

if you are looking for a value play then ontex should be on your screen. P/B below 1, EV/EBITDA 3,67 on the other hand decreasing revenu, and decreasing EPS and no dividend which also means they cannot cut it... :-)
