Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Financial Services, Transport and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.40%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Halwani Bros (SE:6001), which rose 6.53% or 4.75 points to trade at 77.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:1214) added 2.90% or 0.90 points to end at 31.90 and Bawan (SE:1302) was up 2.70% or 0.90 points to 34.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BANK ALBILAD (SE:1140), which fell 7.89% or 2.10 points to trade at 24.50 at the close. Saudi Public Transport Co. (SE:4040) declined 4.90% or 0.90 points to end at 17.45 and Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) was down 4.90% or 1.00 points to 19.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 138 to 28.
Shares in BANK ALBILAD (SE:1140) fell to 52-week lows; falling 7.89% or 2.10 to 24.50. Shares in Saudi Public Transport Co. (SE:4040) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.90% or 0.90 to 17.45.
Crude oil for October delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $45.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.71% or 1.33 to hit $47.75 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.91% or 21.30 to trade at $1138.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 1.12% to 4.2377, while USD/SAR rose 0.09% to 3.7512.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.78% at 95.36.
