Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Building & Construction and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which rose 9.87% or 1.95 points to trade at 21.70 at the close. Meanwhile, AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) added 7.97% or 1.45 points to end at 19.65 and United Electronics Company (SE:4003) was up 4.40% or 1.20 points to 28.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which fell 6.59% or 0.30 points to trade at 4.25 at the close. Bawan (SE:1302) declined 3.78% or 0.85 points to end at 21.65 and Arab National Bank (SE:1080) was down 3.43% or 0.70 points to 19.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 98 to 52 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.13% or 0.06 to $45.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.74% or 0.35 to hit $47.02 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.62% or 8.05 to trade at $1298.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.19% to 4.3019, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 92.89.
