Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Telecoms & IT and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (SE:7200), which rose 5.07% or 2.80 points to trade at 58.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010) added 2.82% or 0.80 points to end at 29.15 and Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) was up 2.74% or 0.34 points to 12.76 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020), which fell 3.84% or 0.96 points to trade at 24.04 at the close. Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) declined 2.78% or 0.66 points to end at 23.04 and AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) was down 2.69% or 0.70 points to 25.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 95 to 81 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (SE:7200) rose to all time highs; up 5.07% or 2.80 to 58.00. Shares in Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.82% or 0.80 to 29.15.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.74% or 0.41 to $56.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.64% or 0.40 to hit $62.87 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.75 to trade at $1425.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.01% to 4.2065, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 96.938.
