Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Energy & Utilities and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050), which rose 9.95% or 3.30 points to trade at 36.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Fitaihi Holding Group (SE:4180) added 6.51% or 2.80 points to end at 45.80 and Saudi Public Transport Co. (SE:4040) was up 5.27% or 1.20 points to 23.98 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (SE:8150), which fell 3.56% or 0.74 points to trade at 20.06 at the close. Sahara International Petrochemical Company SJSC (SE:2310) declined 2.85% or 1.25 points to end at 42.60 and Jadwa REIT Saudi Fund (SE:4342) was down 1.99% or 0.32 points to 15.78.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 109 to 101 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (SE:8150) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.56% or 0.74 to 20.06.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.32% or 1.15 to $88.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.08% or 0.96 to hit $89.70 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.58% or 28.85 to trade at $1800.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.73% to 4.1845, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7520.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.75% at 97.123.
