Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Multi Investment, Building & Construction and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.69% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240), which rose 9.62% or 3.80 points to trade at 43.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330) added 9.41% or 0.95 points to end at 11.05 and Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) was up 7.89% or 1.50 points to 20.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060), which fell 1.94% or 0.40 points to trade at 20.20 at the close. The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150) declined 1.22% or 0.25 points to end at 20.30 and Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) was down 1.10% or 0.10 points to 8.95.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 139 to 18 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.76% or 0.91 to $50.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.37% or 0.75 to hit $54.19 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.21% or 2.50 to trade at $1174.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 9.32% to 4.0255, while USD/SAR rose 9.63% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 100.32.
