Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as in the sectors led shares .

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Stroc Industrie (CS:STR), which rose 4.28% or 2.00 points to trade at 48.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Sonasid (CS:SOND) added 2.94% or 10 points to end at 350 and Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA) was up 2.47% or 0.59 points to 24.49 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Micro Data SA (CS:MIC), which fell 8.59% or 10.80 points to trade at 115.00 at the close. Snep (CS:SNP) declined 4.09% or 3.43 points to end at 80.40 and Total Maroc SA (CS:TMA) was down 3.10% or 29.9 points to 935.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 15 to 12 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.01% or 0.86 to $41.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.80% or 0.81 to hit $44.17 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.31% or 4.15 to trade at $1350.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.16% to 10.9060, while USD/MAD fell 0.32% to 9.7621.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.44% at 95.64.
