Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Beverage and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 1.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Risma (CS:RIS), which rose 3.54% or 3.90 points to trade at 114.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cosumar (CS:CSMR) added 3.32% or 6 points to end at 197 and Jet Contractors (CS:JET) was up 2.33% or 3.85 points to 168.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Brasseries Du Maroc (CS:SBM), which fell 5.88% or 100 points to trade at 1600 at the close. Managem (CS:MNG) declined 3.52% or 30 points to end at 820 and IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC) was down 3.28% or 1.87 points to 55.02.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 18 to 13 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.37% or 0.66 to $48.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.97% or 0.47 to hit $48.82 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.79% or 22.45 to trade at $1229.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.26% to 10.8810, while USD/MAD rose 0.35% to 9.7542.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.36% at 95.57.
