The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Select Textile (AT:EPIr), which rose 6.69% or 0.018 points to trade at 0.286 at the close. Meanwhile, ThesKi Port (AT:OLTr) added 5.31% or 1.20 points to end at 23.80 and Piraeus Bank SA (AT:BOPr) was up 4.09% or 0.009 points to 0.229 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Intralot (AT:INLr), which fell 3.03% or 0.040 points to trade at 1.280 at the close. Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr) declined 2.96% or 0.0400 points to end at 1.3100 and Viohalco SA (AT:VIOH) was down 2.61% or 0.080 points to 2.980.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 73 to 32 and 14 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for August delivery was up 0.22% or 2.70 to $1212.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.93% or 0.41 to hit $44.64 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract rose 0.98% or 0.46 to trade at $47.17 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.11% to 1.1387, while EUR/GBP rose 0.05% to 0.8848.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 95.89.
