Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Utilities, Technology and Household sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite fell 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Revoil Petrol (AT:REVr), which rose 4.14% or 0.026 points to trade at 0.654 at the close. Meanwhile, Iaso (AT:IASr) added 3.91% or 0.050 points to end at 1.330 and Athens Medical (AT:AMCr) was up 3.33% or 0.050 points to 1.550 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Select Textile (AT:EPIr), which fell 10.38% or 0.027 points to trade at 0.292 at the close. Intracom Hold (AT:INRr) declined 4.47% or 0.030 points to end at 0.641 and Public Power (AT:DEHr) was down 4.22% or 0.10 points to 2.27.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 77 to 25 and 10 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.28% or 3.53 to $1250.77 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 2.63% or 1.22 to hit $47.56 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract rose 2.47% or 1.20 to trade at $49.80 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.19% to 1.1665, while EUR/GBP rose 0.08% to 0.8944.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 93.77.
