Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Utilities and Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General-Composite declined 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General-Composite were Marfin Invest (AT:MRFr), which rose 13.08% or 0.017 points to trade at 0.147 at the close. Meanwhile, Athens Medical (AT:AMCr) added 10.00% or 0.069 points to end at 0.759 and Centric Hold (AT:DESr) was up 5.49% or 0.005 points to 0.096 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Frigoglass (AT:FRIr), which fell 19.22% or 0.07 points to trade at 0.29 at the close. Iaso (AT:IASr) declined 9.89% or 0.054 points to end at 0.492 and Reds (AT:CAMr) was down 9.09% or 0.030 points to 0.300.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 50 to 45 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Frigoglass (AT:FRIr) fell to all time lows; down 19.22% or 0.07 to 0.29.
Gold for June delivery was down 1.26% or 15.70 to $1232.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 0.38% or 0.16 to hit $41.92 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract rose 0.45% or 0.20 to trade at $44.38 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.11% to 1.1263, while EUR/GBP rose 0.34% to 0.7964.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.11% at 94.91.
