Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Retail, Financials and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General-Composite gained 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General-Composite were Hygeia (AT:HYGr), which rose 8.33% or 0.017 points to trade at 0.221 at the close. Meanwhile, Revoil Petrol (AT:REVr) added 7.94% or 0.027 points to end at 0.359 and AS Company SA (AT:ASCr) was up 4.72% or 0.034 points to 0.754 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr), which fell 4.73% or 0.0070 points to trade at 0.1410 at the close. Korres (AT:KRRr) declined 2.65% or 0.100 points to end at 3.680 and Terna Energy (AT:TENr) was down 2.10% or 0.060 points to 2.800.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 65 to 39 and 20 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for April delivery was up 1.37% or 16.85 to $1250.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 1.53% or 0.82 to hit $54.41 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract rose 1.54% or 0.86 to trade at $56.70 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.28% to 1.0586, while EUR/GBP fell 0.44% to 0.8443.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 100.95.
