Southern Cable Group Berhad, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and sells cables and wires in Malaysia and internationally. It also offers cables and wires for power distribution and transmission, communications, and control and instrumentation applications. In addition, the company manufactures copper and aluminum rods, plastic compounds, and wooden cable drums; trades in cables and wires, and copper strips; and supplies and installs rectifiers. It serves various industries, including power distribution and transmission; building and construction; infrastructure; telecommunications; and manufacturing and processing industries, such as oil and gas processing, and petrochemical plants. Southern Cable Group Berhad was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Kuala Ketil, Malaysia.
