Hispania’s shares are traded on the Spanish Continuous Market, as part of the Ibex Small Cap index since December 11th, 2014. Established in January 2014, its main objective is to acquire and manage real estate assets in Spain, in order to maximize returns for shareholders through active management of the company’s portfolio. Hispania is registered as a “SOCIMI” (Sociedad Anónima Cotizada de Inversión Inmobiliaria), also known as Real Estate Investment Trust companies (REIT), since May 2016 after the approval from its Annual Shareholder’s Meeting to conclude the merger between Hispania Activos Inmobiliarios and it’s 100% subsidiary Hispania Real SOCIMI. Through this regime Hispania can take advantage of all the fiscal benefits associated to it in order to maximize the value of its portfolio.
