Omnicom Group Inc. (NYSE:OMC) , the world’s leading advertising, marketing and corporate communications company, recently announced that its Public Relations segment Omnicom Public Relations Group has acquired Rabin Martin. The finances of the deal remain undisclosed.

Rabin Martin is a global health strategy consulting firm that assists customers in becoming leaders in global health technologies. The company offers extensive networks and expertise across private and public sectors. Rabin Martin provides its services to multinational health care companies and large foundations, and also to leading NGOs and institutions.

The acquired company’s high-profile client base will augment Omnicom Public Relation’s already strong healthcare offerings. By merging the expertise of both the companies, Omnicom will be able to set itself apart from its peers.

Per a research report by Industry Today, the global market for Healthcare Business Intelligence Platforms is expected to grow at a CAGR of 11.17% from 2015 to 2023 owing to growing expenditure on healthcare. Thus, the Rabin Martin acquisition will help to leverage the burgeoning market and drive top-line growth at Omnicom.
