The euro slid Friday following weaker-than-expected Retail PMI data; the index falling from 45.8 to 44.5. The sharper fall in retail sales reflecting a renewed concern over Europe's economic health. The euro fell 0.35% against the dollar and 0.34% and 0.33% against the GBP and JPY respectively. The EUR is now trading at $1.3185, £0.8194 and ¥113.610
