1. Celsion Corporation
Celsion Corporation (NASDAQ:CLSN) popped out of a falling wedge or pennant two days ago, took an inside day on low volume, and then on Monday, it popped 60 cents, or 19.6%, to 3.66, with a multi-week and session high of 3.79, on 4.9 million shares traded and another 7 cents to 3.73 in after-hours. That was a good breakout day. Now, I’m looking for a move to 4 1/2 and 5 1/2.
2. Inovio Pharmaceuticals
Inovio Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:INO) also may have popped on Monday and took out the declining topsline and prior highs. It gained 1.13, or 8.7%, to 14.15, just pennies off the session high at 14.19, on 20.4 million shares traded. I’m looking for a test of 15 1/4. If it gets through 15 3/4-16 1/2 the sky is the limit.
3. Novavax
Novavax (NASDAQ:NVAX) popped out of a month-long coil on Monday and jumped 5.50, or 12%, to 51.07, with a session high of 51.53, on 8.6 million shares traded, and another 36 cents to 51.43 in after-hours. That wasn’t a big move, but we do want to see resistance taken out at 54. If it does that, 60 and 70 are the targets.
4. Origin Agritech
Origin Agritech (NASDAQ:SEED) exploded 1.98, or 31%, to 8.36, with a midafternoon session high of 8.49, on 543,791 shares traded on Monday. You can see that this might be an interesting play. Next targets are 11 and 14.
5. Soliton
Soliton (NASDAQ:SOLY) on Monday announced its new device for removing cellulite and popped 74 cents, or 5.4%, to 14.55, with a session high of 15.50, on 1.3 million shares traded, and another 40 cents in after-hours to 14.95. That’s the biggest volume in almost eight months. There’s a quadruple top up here around 15.60. Keep an eye on it, because if it gets through here, 19 and 22 are targets.
6. VBI Vaccines
VBI Vaccines (NASDAQ:VBIV), which Andre picked out on Monday, looks good. It wedged, popped, pulled back, and then exploded 43 cents, or 20%, to 2.60, with a session high of 2.80, on 29.4 million shares traded. That’s a lot of volume for this stock. If it gets through the 2.95 area, we’re looking at 4-4 1/4 next as target.
