The biggest mover on the weekly Renewables MMI® was the price of Chinese cobalt cathodes, which saw a 1.5 percent increase. This comes on the heels of a 2.4 percent decline the week prior.
After a 0.7 percent decline, Chinese steel plate closed out the week down. The week finished with no movement for silicon. Neodymium remained essentially flat from the previous week too.
Japanese steel plate prices held steady from the previous week. Korean steel plate remained unchanged for the week. Chinese steel plate prices were off slightly, down about $5 per metric ton from a week ago. Prices for U.S. steel plate remained constant.
