  •            Enrich the conversation, don’t trash it.

  •           Stay focused and on track. Only post material that’s relevant to the topic being discussed.

  •           Be respectful. Even negative opinions can be framed positively and diplomatically. Avoid profanity, slander or personal attacks directed at an author or another user. Racism, sexism and other forms of discrimination will not be tolerated.

  • Use standard writing style. Include punctuation and upper and lower cases. Comments that are written in all caps and contain excessive use of symbols will be removed.
  • NOTE: Spam and/or promotional messages and comments containing links will be removed. Phone numbers, email addresses, links to personal or business websites, Skype/Telegram/WhatsApp etc. addresses (including links to groups) will also be removed; self-promotional material or business-related solicitations or PR (ie, contact me for signals/advice etc.), and/or any other comment that contains personal contact specifcs or advertising will be removed as well. In addition, any of the above-mentioned violations may result in suspension of your account.
  • Doxxing. We do not allow any sharing of private or personal contact or other information about any individual or organization. This will result in immediate suspension of the commentor and his or her account.
  • Don’t monopolize the conversation. We appreciate passion and conviction, but we also strongly believe in giving everyone a chance to air their point of view. Therefore, in addition to civil interaction, we expect commenters to offer their opinions succinctly and thoughtfully, but not so repeatedly that others are annoyed or offended. If we receive complaints about individuals who take over a thread or forum, we reserve the right to ban them from the site, without recourse.

Plat is thin market. Do not kid yourselves that this would have happened so dramatically without gold and silver in the assist. Sure, the fundamentals are solid for Plat all by themself. But, there are forces within the paper specs that have been in the way of nature. This is a nice washout and recalibration. I expect Ale piz is generally correct. will not matter if his numbers are exact. The action always happens that way. Exhaustion happens. Exhaustion is near.

looking at the weekly candle, this weeks appears to be in the same size as Feb 2021 when Plat hit 1345. We should anticipate potential for small increase next week, or none. And a consolidation of some sort. Not that this will happen, but that would be ordinary. Question is, is it different this time? Not usually...but again, these are not usual times.

chrisP Bacon....you mean, the govt grift machine is telling everyone inflation is 3.5% I am not saying it is 3.5, or that it isnt 3.5. I just have to consider the source. The same source that since 1980 has redefined the basket that encapsulates that inflation number. In 1980....it included rent and mortgages....now? NOT. Just the biggest element in a household budget. Unemployment? Yes, they redefined that too, along with medical definitions since the DOD critters escaped.

Globe...Leroy....yes. Psych still is a part of this game. Always is. But, other forces can overwhelm. Just because one force is overwhelmed does not mean it is not existant. You forget these rules at your own peril. No LOL matter. These are not emotions to ignore. You have an entire arsenal of indicators and rules to observe....ignore any single one at your own peril.

Retail is beginning to overwhelm producers here...as they are looking for historical bargain vs gold.

Just so you know inflation is only 3.5%. I mean, every metal went up 3-4% TODAY ALONE but yup, only 3.5% inflation on a 'yearly' basis. Time for a rate cut, hahahaha
