Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Sports, Technology and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 fell 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Metro Ticari ve Mali Yatirimlar Holding AS (IS:METRO), which rose 8.00% or 0.060 points to trade at 0.810 at the close. Meanwhile, Bera Holding AS (IS:BERA) added 7.10% or 0.120 points to end at 1.810 and SASA Polyester Sanayi AS (IS:SASA) was up 5.59% or 0.290 points to 5.480 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Galatasaray Sportif Sinai ve Ticari Yatirimlar AS (IS:GSRAY), which fell 12.50% or 0.22 points to trade at 1.54 at the close. Albaraka Turk Katilim Bankasi AS (IS:ALBRK) declined 9.16% or 0.120 points to end at 1.190 and Besiktas Futbol Yatirimlari Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:BJKAS) was down 8.11% or 0.120 points to 1.360.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 187 to 152 and 66 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.06% or 0.75 to $1276.45 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.48% or 0.30 to hit $63.22 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract rose 0.14% or 0.10 to trade at $72.31 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.54% to 6.0211, while EUR/TRY fell 0.43% to 6.7253.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 97.762.
