Investing.com – Sri Lanka stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Information Technology, Services and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombo, the CSE All-Share gained 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the CSE All-Share were PCH Holdings PLC (CM:PCHH), which rose 25.00% or 0.100 points to trade at 0.500 at the close. Meanwhile, Blue Diamonds Jewellery Worldwide PLC (CM:BLUE) added 20.00% or 0.100 points to end at 0.600 and Tea Smallholder Factories PLC (CM:TSML) was up 13.06% or 2.90 points to 25.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Swadeshi Industrial Works PLC (CM:SWAD), which fell 22.42% or 2872.50 points to trade at 9940.00 at the close. EB Creasy and Company PLC (CM:EBCR) declined 20.87% or 291.40 points to end at 1105.00 and Colombo City Holdings PLC (CM:PHAR) was down 13.46% or 95.80 points to 616.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombo Stock Exchange by 100 to 73 and 45 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.01% or 0.01 to $67.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $76.45 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.20 to trade at $1206.50 a troy ounce.
GBP/LKR was up 0.41% to 209.850, while USD/LKR rose 0.15% to 161.860.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 94.90.
