MILAN (Reuters) - Production at three Stellantis (NYSE:STLA) assembly plants in Europe will restart in the first days of May, a spokesman said on Tuesday, after the automaker found alternative solutions for the sourcing of parts.

The sites, in France and Britain, have been halted since the beginning of last week due to a workers strike at supplier MA France, a division of Italian group CLN, which specialises in stamped metal parts.

The French plant in Poissy will resume production on May 2 while those in Hordain, also in France, and in Luton, in Britain, are due to restart on May 7, he added.

The Hordain plant makes vans and mini buses for Stellantis brands and also Toyota (NYSE:TM).
