Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.06%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.06%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Partner (TA:PTNR), which rose 5.41% or 99 points to trade at 1930 at the close. Meanwhile, Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) added 2.71% or 4.1 points to end at 155.2 and Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) was up 2.69% or 136 points to 5200 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 2.31% or 55 points to trade at 2324 at the close. Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) declined 1.51% or 290.0 points to end at 18910.0 and Elbit Systems (TA:ESLT) was down 1.29% or 560 points to 42800.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 287 to 121 and 94 ended unchanged.

Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) fell to all time lows; losing 2.31% or 55 to 2324. Shares in Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.71% or 4.1 to 155.2. Shares in Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) rose to all time highs; rising 2.69% or 136 to 5200.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.24% or 0.63 to $51.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.06% or 0.57 to hit $54.18 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 6.01 to trade at $1259.61 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.10% to 3.5834, while EUR/ILS rose 0.41% to 4.0298.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 96.79.
