Investors play defense with Coca-Cola, McDonald's and P&G
- Procter & Gamble (NYSE:PG), Coca-Cola (NYSE:KO) and McDonald's (NYSE:MCD) are all up about 0.3%, despite the large market decline today (Dow -2.4%, S&P 500 -2.3%, Nasdaq -2.6%, Russell 2000 -3.3%).
- Analysts have noted that the three Dow components have been use by investors over the last few weeks as a defensive strategy at an even higher correlation than in the past.
