Just as we were celebrating new highs stocks (SPY) got set back in a big way by the news of the Omicron variant. No doubt we are all contemplating how low stocks can go on this news and what is the best trading plan for the days and weeks ahead. Just when you think the Coronavirus will start fading off into the distance it makes a come back with the new Omicron variant. Indeed news of this mutation led to a “sell first, ask questions later” reaction on Friday...then a bounce...then another nasty sell off today.
