Boeing Gains As It Delivers 28 Planes In July, Books Orders For 31

Investing.com – Boeing stock (NYSE:BA) rose 1.7% Tuesday as the company said it delivered 28 planes to airline operators and other buyers including 22 units of 737 MAX single-aisle jets.

Boeing said it booked orders for 31 aircraft in July, including 19 more 737 MAX jets, and 12 of its widebodies.

Defects kept delivery of the plane maker's 787 Dreamliners suspended for the fourth month.

Boeing continues to resolve manufacturing defects found in the bigger and more profitable 787 planes.

The company had cancellations for 17 jets in July.

Boeing ended the month with a backlog of 4,141 jets. Overall, the  backlog at the world’s largest maker of commercial planes fell by 14 jets to 4,141 aircraft.
