Braves' Albies to miss games with hamstring injury

The Atlanta Braves will stay away from All-Star second baseman Ozzie Albies for "a day or two" after he left Friday's game against the Washington Nationals in the third inning as a precaution due to right hamstring tightness.

Albies hit an RBI double in the first inning, stole third base and scored on a Freddie Freeman grounder to third. The 21-year-old was pinch-hit for by Charlie Culberson in the third inning.

Culberson would later homer in the contest, as the Braves beat the Nationals 8-5.

Albies is hitting .283 with 20 home runs, 56 RBIs and 10 steals on the season, his second in the majors with the Braves. He leads the National League in runs scored (75) and extra-base hits (53).
