Fed's Powell to testify in U.S. Congress on July 10
(Reuters) - Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell will give his twice-yearly testimony on monetary policy and the state of the economy before the financial services committee in the House of Representatives on July 10, at 10 a.m. eastern time (1600 GMT).
The committee's chairwoman, Maxine Waters, announced the hearing in an email distributed on Monday. Powell will by law also testify before the Senate's banking panel, though the date for that hearing has not yet been announced.
