Metis Launches Alpha Test Net for Layer 2 Rollup Solution
- Metis has just launched the Alpha test net for its Layer 2 Rollup Solution.

Ethereum Layer 2 protocol Metis has just released details of its Rollup design and Alpha test net. It aims to empower decentralized businesses to create and manage their own DApps.
It is built using an optimal version of Optimistic Rollups and lets users launch their own decentralized applications. App owners can instruct the embedded frameworks of Decentralized Autonomous Companies (DACs) using the Metis Rollup and manage the apps from within. Metis also ensures that they are low-cost with high scalability and functionality.
The Alpha test net will give users exclusive access to try out some special features of the Metis Rollup ahead of the Layer 2’s mainnet launch.
