Genesis Mining Active Again for US-Based Customers after Regulator Freeze, HashFlare Renews SHA-256 Contracts

The service of Genesis Mining is back for US-based customers after a freeze in March. At the end of July, South Carolina cancelled a cease-and-desist order for the activity of the company, putting the company in the clear for continuing its activities in the USA.

The cloud service managed to remain profitable after the latest 14.48% difficulty spike. Genesis Mining is one of the services relying on real mining, unlike other dubious cloud mining firms that are in fact veiled pyramid schemes.

The renewal of Genesis Mining service coincided with the renewal of HashFlare SHA-256 contracts, which were suspended at the end of July. HashFlare also saw accusations of being a scam, after the profitability of SHA-256 contracts fell significantly.
