Ethereum Could Be the Next Crypto to Be Added to Twitter’s Tip Jar Soon
First introduced in May 2021, Tips, a feature on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter (NYSE:TWTR), allows users to send influencers and content creators money from anywhere in the world.
The currently supported payment services are Bitcoin wallet, Strike (Bitcoin Lightning Network), Bandcamp, Cash App, Chipper, Patreon, Razorpay, Wealthsimple Cash, Venmo, GoFundMe, and PicPay.
In September, Twitter announced integrated Bitcoin into its tipping services. Following the announcement, users could add bitcoin wallets and Lightning Network services to their profiles and receive tips from users without any geographical restrictions. Ethereum could be the next crypto to feature on Twitter.
Twitter user @CryptoWhale, suggests that Ethereum (ETH) could be the next crypto to make it to the tipping jar. Ethereum has been hailed for having more functionality than Bitcoin, and its inclusion would make more sense than Bitcoin.

Full-stack Android developer in Java and Kotlin, Alessandro Paluzzi, in September announced that it was working on allowing users to send Bitcoin and Ethereum as tips. Weeks later, Bitcoin was introduced to the platform. This could mean that it won’t be long before Ethereum tipping is introduced to Twitter users.
