Crypto Firms Claiming Fake Obama Support, Unrealistic Profits Banned By Texas State

The Texas State Securities Board (TSSB) has taken administrative actions against three cryptocurrency companies for offering unregistered securities to local investors, the TSSB said in a statement on Tuesday. Moreover, all three firms, DigitalBank (DGBK Ltd.), Coins Miner Investment, and Ultimate Assets, had used various spoofing tactics like lying about an endorsement from former US President Barack Obama, using fake Coinbase email credentials, and claiming high investment returns, the regulator explained.

DigitalBank (DGBK Ltd.), Coins Miner Investment, and Ultimate Asset activities are now banned within the Texas state borders as TSSB issued emergency cease and desist orders against the companies.
