Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Hard Fork: SV Version Becomes Minority Chain
The hash wars , an attempt to take over the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) network, did not turn out brutal and long after all. The network did not so much fork as branch, and it quickly became obvious one of the branches was significantly weaker. Despite Craig Wright’s confidence, the promised all-out war, with hashing power as a weapon, did not go as planned.

Following the planned ABC update, a group of miners started off on the SV blockchain, and it immediately became apparent the high rate of hashing power was not actually available. Within hours, SV was a few blocks behind.
