All-new Cryptocurrency Section

Bubble or not, fairly valued or over-inflated, cryptocurrencies are now immensely popular and in the news almost every day. Investors need all the information they can get their hands on.

That’s why we’ve been working hard to develop our cryptocurrency offering.

Our new Crypto Currency page includes:

  • Key information about the top cryptocurrencies, including price, price change, and overall market cap

  • A bar chart featuring the top cryptocurrency pairs - digital currencies relative to both fiat and non-fiat currencies based on trading volume and sorted by best overall performance

  • A list of the most-active cryptocurrencies, along with important performance data

  • The latest news and analysis, so you can stay informed on the most recent headlines, and see what the experts think will happen next

There’s also an All Crypto Currency Pairs page, listing every type of crypto coin we carry.

Both the main Crypto page, as well as the Crypto Currency Pairs page, come equipped with a filter to locate cryptocurrency pairs using the dropdown menus for base currency name, quote currency name, and exchange.

Additionally, you’ll be able to navigate from either page to each currency’s general overview page, with individualized charts, technical data, new and analysis, community forums, and more.

Why the new cryptocurrency pages?

Because cryptocurrencies are still relatively new and unknown – but rapidly gaining in popularity as an investment choice!

Though cryptocurrencies have swung violently over the past few months – going back and forth from lofty highs to deep lows, despite the fluctuations, digital currencies are some of the most popular trading and investment instruments this year.

Thus far in 2017, Bitcoin has gone up approximately 230%. On June 11 it hit an all-time high of $3,000, before crashing $700 to its current valuation of $2,315.

Ethereum had a similarly wild ride, climbing nearly 2,700% this calendar year. On June 12, it hit $400; currently it’s at $222 – much less than a month ago, but still a great half-year return for investors who were smart, or lucky enough, to make the call. One such crypto-success story starred Erik Finman, who started buying Bitcoins when he was 12 at $12 each; now 18, he’s a Bitcoin millionaire. Another story revealed that a secret trader, known only by his virtual wallet ID number, had turned $55 million in paper money into $283 million of Ethereum in just over month.

There is little doubt that cryptocurrencies as viable investment vehicles – and the blockchain technology they are predicated upon – are here to stay. That’s why we’ve created our new cryptocurrency section – to give you best, most comprehensive, and up-to-date cryptocurrency information possible.

This is just the beginning for our cryptocurrency section. We have many more features in the pipeline, to be rolled out shortly, and we can’t wait to share those additions and upgrades with you soon!

Trading in financial instruments and/or cryptocurrencies involves high risks including the risk of losing some, or all, of your investment amount, and may not be suitable for all investors. Prices of cryptocurrencies are extremely volatile and may be affected by external factors such as financial, regulatory or political events. Trading on margin increases the financial risks.
Before deciding to trade in financial instrument or cryptocurrencies you should be fully informed of the risks and costs associated with trading the financial markets, carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite, and seek professional advice where needed.
