World Markets Update: Biggest Collective Surge Of 2015

The world rally surged higher in (for most of the eight indexes on this watch list) a holiday shortened week. Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose a whopping 7.90% with the Shanghai Composite a distant second with its stunning 4.41% jump. The three European indexes were up in the 3%+ range. Japan's Nikkei and India's BSE Sensex were up in the 2%+ range. The last place finish belongs to the US's S&P 500, up a "mere" 1.70%. The 3.63% average gain of the eight was the biggest of 2015.
