World Markets Update: Back In Sell-Off Mode

Seven of the eight indexes on our world watch list posted week-over-week losses, a decline from a four-up-four-down split the previous week. The average week-over-week change was -1.97%, down from a near break-even -0.14% the previous week. The S&P 500 was the one outlier to the upside with a 0.53% gain. India's SENSEX and the UK's FTSE posted moderate declines for the week, -0.69% and -0.98% respectively. The remaining five finished the week with uglier losses in the range of -2.47% to -3.54%, with France's CAC 40 as the biggest loser.h3 A Closer Look at the Last Four Weeks/h3
