VIX (Volatility index) On September 15, 2014

VIX is over its 200-day SMA for the first time in one month. I am not sure whether this signals real trouble ahead for the indices. My overall view is that this has to do mostly with today’s Nasdaq weakness and is just a rebound before VIX ultimately collapses to 10.
