On Wednesday USD/JPY increased with 85 pips. The currency couple appreciated from 106.02 to 106.89 yesterday, matching the positive money flow sentiment at over +21%, closing the day at 106.81. This morning the dollar rose further against the yen, reaching 107.04.

On the 1 hour chart the upward channel looks good, while on the 3 hour chart the upward channel iss accelerating. Break above today's top and nearest resistance 107.04 would encourage further recovery of the dollar. Immediate support is yesterday's bottom at 106.02, and consistent break below it could strengthen the yen further down towards next target 105.14.
