Frozen pork reserves slightly decreased in the US

In August, frozen pork reserves declined in the United States. Will the lean hogs prices grow?

According to the US Department of Agriculture monthly report, the US frozen pork reserves amounted to 575.7 mln pounds in August 2017. This is by 5.5% less than in August of the last year when they were 608.9 mln pounds. Let us recall that previously the Ministry of Agriculture of China reported a reduction in the livestock of pigs in the country by 5.6% in August 2017 compared with the same month in 2016.
