SPY Put-Call Ratio Climbs

The SPDR S&P 500 (ARCA:SPY) put-call ratio has climbed again and is high at 2.23, but the move comes on a 25% drop in open interest. That’s a huge drop in one day.
The huge drop in open interest means the effect of the high ratio should be modest.
Also, because we’re now outside of opex week, the effect doesn’t have to be immediate, although it looks like we’re seeing it today.
