A couple of charts which neatly sum up what 2021 was like; here are three major cash indexes—S&P 500, NASDAQ, and Russell 2000—in percentage terms, for the whole of 2021:
And here are the FAANG stocks; Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL) was by far the biggest winner, whereas Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) absolutely sucked out loud, underperforming even the likes of the Dow Jones Utility Index. I blame Lauren Sanchez!
